Oman Air was established and commenced operations as the national carrier of Oman.
2007
Oman Air opened the new hall in Oman International Airport. The same year, the airline introduced in-flight shopping program on international and domestic flights to Salalah. New uniform on board was first introduced by the cabin crew of Oman Air.
2008
The announcement of the new identity of Oman Air in February. On 12 April the same year, the airline name changed from Oman International Services to Oman Air.
2010
Oman Air became the first airline in the world to offer onboard internet and mobile services.
