Gulf Air Returns to Iraq
Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, announces the return of operating flights between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq. In 1974, Gulf Air launched its inaugural flights to Iraq, visiting the Iraqi cities of Baghdad, Najaf, and Erbil. In 2020, flights were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now Gulf Air starts again travel to Iraq.
