Overview

The Alberguinn youth hostel is located in the traditional Sants district, which still retains a trace of its historical heritage from back when it was an independent village in the 19th century. The main channel of the neighbourhood is the Carretera de Sant which links Plaça Espanya to the municipality of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Many of Barcelona’s great points of interest, such the Olympic stadium, can be located near to the hostel; in addition, there is a wealth of great bars, shops, restaurants, bazaars and cafés. Alternatively, the local Estación de Sants, the major railway station in Barcelona, further increases the possibilities, whilst the city’s superb public transportation system grants even more access to all the great destinations this Catalonian city has to offer. There are six air-conditioned dorms, either mixed or female only, with 6-16 beds each. The dorms have key-card access for added security in addition to free lockers for secure storage. The toilets are separate from the dorms and split between male and female and come with hair dryer and towels, whilst the on-site Laundromat features coin-operated washing machines and dryers.
