Built in the 40s and designed by the architect Miguel Jacobetty, this is one of the first seven pousadas to appear in Portugal. The most impressive things about this new state building, however, are the curved shapes and white walls, reminiscent of schools from another time. The pousada has successfully preserved its regional architectural style. The combination of peace and tranquillity makes for a very warm and special welcome. This air-conditioned pousada is the extension between home and country. It has a total of 33 rooms spread across 3 floors, including 8 doubles, 23 twins, 1 luxurious twin and 1 luxurious double. A lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access, a caf, TV room, restaurant and room service are all provided. A laundry service is offered for a fee, and parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.
