Twyfelfontein Country Lodge, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is situated just 5 kilometres from the historic Twyfelfontein site, home to the largest number of rock engravings in southern Africa. The lodge is located approximately 100 km west of the small town of Khorixas and is accessible along the district road C39.
In construction utmost care was taken to reduce the visual impact on the environment and to blend into the mountainside with the use of thatch roofs, natural stone and paint colors toning in with the surrounding rock formations.
