In 1912 the hotel was restored by a trekking expert who made this place a starting point for hiking to the nearby sites. The riad is beautifully decorated and offers an extraordinarily calm and serene atmosphere to guests. Its organic garden provides fresh fruit and vegetables. The hotel is 90 km south west of Ouarzazate and its airport. Situated between two mountain ranges (the Central High Atlas and M'Goun Djebel Saghro), the kasbah is located in the heart of the Valley of Roses, 4 km from the Capital of Roses (Kelaa M'Gouna). Arriving at the kasbah sign, follow the trail accessible to cars for 800 metres to arrive in the village of Ait Khiyar, which is situated at an altitude of 1500 m, far away from the noise of the city.
