The main tourist attractions of the area are the Meteora mountains upon which are situated monasteries. These are a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The nearest large town is Trikkala which is a 20 minute drive away by car. The train station is about 500 metres from the hotel. The closest airport is in Thessaloniki, 250 km away.
A two storey typically Greek looking modern building, Rex has been renovated fully in 2006.
